      I would try to avoid the temptation of over generalising. The radiation that you might be talking about (alpha, beta and gamma) do often have different energies, but I’d make sure that you understand each of their properties (mass, charge, etc). As it turns out most things, when you look at them close enough, can be thought of basically energy.
