I think (i’m not an expert so i might not be correct), but albinism is caused by a lack of the melanin pigment in the skin, hair and eyes. melanin pigment is a biological substance that gives body tissues their colour. I guess it’s like the human body’s natural dye. Pigments give flowers their colour for example. a person will be born albino and I think it’s caused by a disorder of the genes that govern pigment.
