• Question: do you believe in all theories scientists make?

      I don’t believe in them in the sense that I would think they are the absolute truth, but we know that some of them work extremely well in typical situations, so we can very well trust them with our lives. However, these theories are not perfect, and we can usually expect that under some very different circumstances they may fail. For example, classical mechanics works very well in everyday situations, but not at very high speeds. The generally accepted scientific theory is always the best description we can have using the knowledge we have, but precisely how much one should trust it depends on the amount of evidence supporting it.
