      Hi,

I’ve used low level lasers (like laser pointers) to demonstrate some of the qualities of light (diffraction, single wavelength, highly collimated) but i haven’t been able to demonstrate any of my work with a real high power laser pulse, because they’re not allowed to leave the lab. We’ve got a couple of good (ultra slow motion) animations that simulate what happens during a laser plasma interaction that I can use to help people visualise what’s going on though. As a scientist, you frequently have to give presentations (both to scientists and the public) and being able to demonstrate your ideas is vital but normally we just use these simulation animations or images captured during an experiment.
