• Question: If the particles in gases are more spread out than in a liquid or a solid , and everything is made out of particles , then what's inbetweem the particles in gases?

      There is empty space between molecules of gas. You would need a very tiny volume of air in order to expect it to contain on average fewer than one molecule though.
