Question: What do you think is the best way to position solar panels on a car - angled or flat?

The panels obviously work best if they are facing the Sun directly, but the Sun is not always in the same direction, so a flat is a good compromise. You’ll also have to consider the shape of the car and its aerodynamics, because you need to make it as efficient as possible. So I would perhaps try to design the car to be as aerodynamic as possible and use a suitably shaped solar panel as the roof, if that is possible.
