      You need to study physics at university and then do a PhD degree.

      Hi,
      Yep, in order to do a PhD in physics, you need to have done a physics undergrad degree first. And to do physics at university you need to do physics and maths at A-level (and possibly further maths if you can, but i only had time to do the AS course).
