I am not really an expert of this, but I have been wondering about this, too, especially when I have been watching my kids grow. Babies don’t seem to have a long-term memory, and that is probably because their brains are still developing. Especially the part of brain called hippocampus, which is known to be important for long-term memory, does not fully develop until they are 18 months old.
