• Question: why do we sometimes not see stars?

      I guess you mean at night, because at day it is just because the sky itself is so much brighter than them. The same happens in cities even at night because of the city lights. If it is completely dark and you cannot see stars, there must be clouds blocking them, but you cannot see the clouds either because it is dark.
